Standardization of Dooshivishahari Agada through HPTLC

Ayurveda medicines are a time-tested and valuable resource for healing, even today, globally. Hence the quality control standards Ayurvedic formulations is need of time because commercialization. Despite availability modern equipment techniques, not all have been standardized as per day protocol. Dooshivishari agada (DVA), herbo-mineral preparation; mentioned in text Asthangha hrudaya context treatment poisoning, specifically dooshivisha (cumulative poison). High-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) validated analytical tool qualitative quantitative analysis chromatographic information. In this present study, an effort has made to standardize DVA through HPTLC. HPTLC photo documentation showed 8, 11, 10 spots under short UV, long white light after derivatization respectively. Densitometric scan at 254 nm revealed 3 high peaks corresponding different compounds ethanol extract, compounds, 366 620 there were three peaks. These Physico-chemical constants, TLC documentation, unique Rf values, densitogram obtained wavelengths can be used fingerprint identify DVA.
